Another Digging Game-Mines

Hello there children who yearn for the mines, WoodReviewer here with yet another game that revolves around mining, this time called simply Mines by Gold Rush Games. As child who was grounded as a child for digging a 3 foot deep hole in their backyard I do see the appeal of these games, however as I’ve grown I now know that there is more to being a good game rather than just digging a hole. Like proper wood grain. And I am here to play Mines and give a proper judgement on if the game has proper wood grain or not and oh the thumbnail shows a pickaxe with bad wood grain on the handle.

On Retro Looking Games

Hello there classic build lovers of Roblox, WoodReviewer, and today is going to be a bit of a tangent. You see, lately people have asked me for my thoughts on how studs are implemented in games that are trying to go for a classic/retro feel. For those of you that struggle with words, my name is WOODReviewer. Keyword on the wood part.

I am not StudReviewer. I am not SkyBoxReviewer. I am not MemoryLeakReviewer. I am not Use1024x1024TextureOn1Studx1StudMeshReviewer. I exist to review wood because that is my specialty and if I were to review everything, well, that would be too much to review. However due to the overwhelming demand on this topic I won’t review any game, but I will at least help explain why certain things in the classic Roblox style are done. You see, to understand what the old Roblox style is you must first understand why we used to do things the way we did.

Hello there fellow outdoor hikers of Roblox, WoodReviewer here to take a look at one of the premiere mountain climbing games on Roblox, Broken Bones IV by Zaquille. Now some of you might be wondering might be curious why a mountain climbing game is called Broken Bones but that is because mountain climbing can really dangerous if proper safter procedures are not put into place. Don’t believe me? Let’s just take a look at some of the safety issues on Mount Zquillia.

Theater Of Shame-Globe Theatre

Hello there classic game lovers of Roblox WoodReviewer here, and recently I’ve noticed people noticing a trend of people noticing that some game devs are noticing that people like old Roblox building styles included into games and as a result they just add studs randomly to their games. Inspired by that I’ve decided that today was a good day to go visit my good friends at the Elite Builders of Robloxia and see how some of their classic games hold up. Today’s unlucky victim of my wrath is xiayurei and their showcase Globe Theatre, a recreation of the modern day recreation of Shakespeare’s original Globe Theatre. Although the Globe Theatre isn’t a super old game, dating to 2013 rather than the 2009 era that most of the current nostalgia merchants are aiming for. So, is the wood grain from older Roblox actually better than from modern Roblox?

Shooters-Murderers vs Sheriffs Duels

Hello there third person shooter lovers of Roblox, WoodReviewer here to take a look at a game that I feel somehow flies under everyone’s radar despite the fact it constantly has a player count into 5 digits and has been features in two Roblox events, Murderers vs Sheriffs Duels by Red21 Games. For those of you who have never played Murderers vs Sheriffs Duels, it is a PvP third person shooter game where you basically get the knife that murders use in murder games and the gun uses by sheriffs in the same murder games. So, why is it called Murderers vs Sheriffs if both sides are exactly the same? I can’t answer that question. But do you know what question I can answer?

Hint: It has to do with wood grain.

Hint two: The answer is no.
