Hello there small game makers of Roblox who are hoping that if their game is small enough they will manage to escape my wrath, WoodReviewer here with the second edition of Wood Scraps. All of you who were here for my previous edition will remember what this is, but for those of you who missed out on Part 1, Wood Scraps is my way to review game that either don’t have enough content to be a proper review, or games that I just don’t have enough time to put into to finish a proper review. Realistically this means that some of these games are games that I just don’t want to play anymore, but this also gives me probably deniability that none of these games fall into the category.
Train Sim World: Tycoon by Dovetail Games
Train Sim World: Tycoon is a game that combines two of my favorite things in life: trains and watching number go up. However just because a game is after my heart doesn’t mean that I will excuse bad wood grain. On the contrary, I am usually even harder on games that I like than games that I dislike solely for the fact I actually want them to get better. Realistically I know this will never happen, but I can still hope, just as I hope that Train Sim World: Tycoon can improve its wood grain. Now I am sure some of you are wondering what will be the bad wood grain here, will it be the track ties, station, or even entire bridges. Even though it would be funny for the entire island to be filled with train tracks that have bad wood grain, the only issue I came across was with these small mini-bridges on top of the other larger bridges, all of which happened to b e smooth plastic. With just some simple material flip magic these should be fairly easy to fix.

MX World by astrasoftware
I have been fascinated with how different devs have made motocycles on Roblox ever since I first got my hands on the classic bikes made by Orange541 way back in 2008. Lovely as those bikes were, time has moved on a bit since then and now the newest generation of bikes are here, and unlike in 2008 they actually have physics and aren’t just a plane modified to not have enough lift to actually take off. Like I’ve said before, old Roblox was a crazy time. Biased as I may be, that doesn’t mean I will overlook the bad wood grain on the front face of this halfpipe.

Entrentched by Edot
Entrentched scratched an itch that I have had for a long time in that it is more or less an updated version of The Underground War by StickMasterLuke, only with less of a focus on digging and more of a focus on flanking. Many might say that that makes it a completely different game, but hey I said it scratched the itch, not that it was a complete replacement. You can rest easy if you are worried about it completely replacing Underground War because one area Entrenched falls about is with its wood grain, having bad wood grain on the window frame in this bombed out house, among other issues that I don’t really feel like going into right now.

Bunker Life Tycoon by MiniLife Games
Entretched was not the only game to be featured today that mainly revolves around digging in a near apoplectic scenario as my final game, Bunker Life Tycoon, involves living in a bunker after some major disaster like that of a major trench warfare war. Did I mean to transition this games into each other so smoothly? I don’t think I could do that again if I tried. Transitions aside, the most obvious issue in Bunker Life Tycoon was with the wooden crates that you have to clear out when you start the game, all of which have bad wood grain. On all of the boards the wood grain should go lengthwise with the board, not perpendicular to the length. Realistically this should be a simple fix, but seeing as the crates have a custom texture and are made out of meshes there may be more work involved, so good luck devs, consider this your warning.
