Santa’s House-Egg Hunt 2018 Part 16

Hello there Hatch haters of Roblox, WoodReviewer here with Part 16 of my review of the 2018 Egg Hunt by Fifteam. Now you might be thinking that the fact this is part 16 of my review means the event was terrible with how much bad wood grain it has, and while yes that is true, the length of my reviews have also been inflated since 2018. I used to keep my reviews to around a thousand words and 20 images max, while if you read my reviews of the previous Hunt events you would know that is short for me now. And sure, I could just end the entire review of the 2018 Egg Hunt now with one longer blog post but for reason that will become clear soon I won’t. So with the fact the wood grain was bad already established about 11 reviews ago, what exactly is wrong with the next sub world, Blizzard Valley?

The first issue I noticed was with this table made out of wooden planks. For those who are unaware, wooden planks should have the end grain of the planks line up with the grain on the top and bottom of the planks, making it appear as if the entire seem is a single gap between the planks. If you want a visualization of this, this is whatgood end grain looks like for planks.

And the planks in The Great Yolktales will show you what bad end grain on planks looks like. See how the gaps on the end don’t line up with the gaps on the top?

The next issue I saw in Blizzard Valley was whatever was going on with this wall. While at first the wooden planks seem like the obvious issue, there is nothing wrong with them in as far as bad wood grain goes, and the fact they aren’t really a structure anymore means there is no structural issues. Instead the issue I want to focus on is the window frames in the background. The grain here should follow the height if the window, not go along the width of the window.

While that is a bit hard to grasp at times, the next issue is fairly simple. The wooden top for the disk is wrong. The wood grain should go across the width of the desk since that is the longer face.

“But WoodReviewer what if that is plywood?”

Are you seriously trying to argue that Santa Claus has a desk made out of plywood right now?

Even if you do believe that Santa would have a desk made out of plywood, the next issue I came across has no excuse. The wood grain on the legs for this rocking horse is bad, with the grain going perpendicular to the length of the legs, not parallel to the length of the legs.

The last piece of bad wood grain in Blizzard Valley is on these wooden crates. The issue is specifically with the wooden planks boards on the top of the crates. The grain here should go along with the length of the board, not perpendicular to it. This is odd because it goes the correct way on the other two sides of the crate, just not the others.

And that is all I have for Blizzard Valley. If you want more for my review of the 2018 Egg Hunt don’t worry, there is still more to come. And if you want to know exactly when it will come out the date has already been announced, you just have to know what you are looking for.
