The penultimate biome in my review, the Air Biome was one of the more difficult ones due to the fact you had to do a small obstacle course to get to it. However I was able to complete all of the the games in here at once so they should be consistent.

Bad Cat by CattyApps

The first game in the Air Biome is Bad Cat, a game where you roleplay as a cat whose objective is to destroy the house you live in. If this is the first review you’ve read on The Hatch you might not be familiar with it but a ton of games in this event have bad wood grain on the vertical posts for signs, like this.

Verdict: Fail

Musical Chairs by Infinity Forge Interactive

While I did not find any wood grain while actually playing Musical Chairs when I was preparing this blog post I did notice that the chairs in the thumbnail have bad wood grain. As a result I am blaming this on the game, even though it is just the thumbnail.

Verdict: Fail

Good or Bad Obby by Obby Farmers

One of the actually unique obbies in The Hatch in that it resembles the more classic obbies on Roblox, Good or Bad Obby was all smooth plastic and as a result it passes my test.

Verdict: Pass

Dig to the Earth’s CORE! by Slime Mine Studios

Another fairly typical simulator game, Dig to the Earth’s CORE use the classic smooth plastic for everything aesthetic and as a result avoids my wrath.

Verdict: Pass

Rarity Factory Tycoon by Rarity Factory Tycoon

Wow, a third straight game that is all smooth plastic and as a result no bad wood grain. This is a record streak so far for all the games in this review.

Verdict: Pass

Mega Noob Simulator by thunder 1222 Productions

The simulator that breaks the streak of games with proper wood grain, Mega Noob Simulator goes back to the basics of bad wood grain by having some bad wood grain on these fence posts.

Verdict: Fail

Smoothie Factory Tycoon by Blend Productions

Another game that is on my list of games that I’ve played a bit and are waiting to be reviewed, Smoothie Factory Tycoon has some crates near the front of you tycoon factory that have bad wood grain.

Verdict: Fail

Borderland by Citizens of Borderland

I didn’t have much time to explore Borderland and I’m almost certain that if I did I would have found some more bad wood grain somewhere, but that is for a future review. For now I’m going to just leave you with this bad tree bark.

Dog Walk by Yamato Studios x Foxique

Dog Walk is a game. It is all smooth plastic. That is all I have to say.

Verdict: Pass

Magnet Fishing by Magnet Fishing

One of the many games about fishing in The Hatch, Magnet Fishing has some bad wood grain in the main shop area. Mainly the front counter and vertical supports for the roof are bad.

Verdict: Fail

Drive a train to the end by samugetta0819

Another game about driving trains, this one replicates Thomas the Tank Engine more than real trains. but I don’t care about that; what I care about is that this bench has bad wood grain. Ironically, the most realistic train game with British Railways and this game both have bad wood grain on benches in a station.

Verdict: Fail

YouTube Simulator Z by indiieun

First off yes indiieun is spelt correctly. Second, the only wood grain that I saw was on the Free Pets stall and it looked just fine, so this is another game that passes my test with actual wood grain.

Verdict: Pass

Saiyan Battlegrounds by AlexRBX01

Saiyan Battlegrounds is an anime fighting but unlike most of the others it doesn’t have any wood grain at all, so it passes my test.

Verdict: Pass

Pick a Slide by Chuckles82

The Air Biome is probably the best biome in terms of having games with proper wood grain as here we have another game that is entirely smooth plastic.

Verdict: Pass

Punch Simulator by Habit Games!

Wow, another game that is all smooth plastic. The Air Biome really is the best biome so far with half the games left to go.

Creatures of Sonaria by Sonar Studios/Twin Atlas

Another game by Twin Atlas in The Hatch, this one is probably the closest to having proper wood grain. The main issue is that the trees have bad tree bark. Please refer to the main post for more on trees as I don’t want to repeat it here.

Verdict: Fail

Ragdoll Engine by Ragdoll Engine_Community

So I don’t feel like going down a rabbit hole right now but there are three ragdoll games in The Hatch that all use this same barbed wire fence with bad wood grain on the wooden posts. Also two of them have the same thumbnail so I have no clue how these games are related, or if one is a copy or not.

Verdict: Fail

HCBB 9V9 by HCBB League

Returning from The Games, HCBB still has the same issue it did before with these benches having improper wood grain. On one hand it does suck, but on the other at least it isn’t bad wood grain in the locker room.

Verdict: Fail

Weaponry by Headstack

Weaponry is another first person shooter game that for some reason decides to have massive wooden crates all around the map instead of the more common shipping containers that exist now, but I’m not complaining about that. I’m here to complain about the fact these crates have bad wood grain.

Verdict: Fail

Spider-Man Simulator by isCreator

So yeah, this game is all smooth plastic. Somehow it passes.

Verdict: Pass

Play Cats Morphs: Friend Rescue by F84 Games

Another game where you play as a cat, this game has less destruction in it as compared to Bad Cat, but it does share one thing: There is bad wood grain on the door, so despite the vast differences in style both games fail my test.

Verdict: Fail

Speed Run 4 by Vurse

Another classic game on Roblox, Speed Run 4 finally makes its way to an event. While I’m not sure if the game has any bad wood grain in the later levels I did not see anything offensive in the game while searching for the egg.

Verdict: Pass

Fisch by Fisching

Fisch still has bad wood grain on the sign right next to spawn. This is like the third event where it has been like this. The creators know and are probably just refusing to fix this out of spite at this point.

Verdict: Fail

Princess Tycoon by The Tycoon Squad

I’m not sure if you remember this cash collector from Super Hero Tycoon, but go look for it. These are the same exact cash collectors which likely means they both come from the same basic tycoon kit and were not change at all. Additionally, the tycoons in both games are all laid out in the same patern.

Verdict: Fail

Toilet Roleplay by Chillin Studios

Yes, another toilet roleplay game. On the plus side this one has bad wood grain on this sign near spawn so I am able to properly condemn it like I should be able to do.

Verdict: Fail

Mingle by CleanMeanBeans

I genuinely have no idea what this game is about, if it is supposed to be a Squid Games Game or is just using the characters because it is funny, anything else that is happening. All I know is that it has no bad wood grain so it is fine.

Verdict: Pass

DUMMY COUNTER YOUR FRIENDS by Uperscuzzi

I DON’T KNOW WHY WE ARE YELLING AGAIN BUT I AM REALLY MAD BECAUSE THIS GAME HAS BAD WOOD GRAIN ON THE BACK AND SEAT OF THIS BENCH AND IT SHOULD BE FIXED.

VERDICT: FAIL

Kohaú Hibachi Restaurant by Kohaú

Probably the most advanced restaurant game I’ve seen, I don’t want to say the games name because I don’t want to copy and past the special u there. But I will say that the game does fall apart by having bad wood grain on this pillar near the entrance and on the sign for The Hatch quest.

Verdict: Fail

Washiez Car Wash by Washiez

The first car wash role-play game that I have ever seen that has a prison in it, but I guess that some car washes have a bunch of crime. But none of that really matters for this review, what matters is that this sign near spawn had bad wood grain on the wooden cylinders, which I can’t stress enough is always due to incompetence.

Verdict: Fail

SPLASH Skate & Music by SplashDev

This game isn’t all smooth plastic, just a majority of it is, but from where I saw there was no bad wood grain so it passes.

Verdict: Pass

Project Baki 4 by Project Baki

Yup, another anime game. And yup, it has bad wood grain on a bench because it is more focused on fancy particles.

Verdict: Fail

LewisLife RP by Arkverse

Honestly at this point I am really running out of unique things to say for each game. The counter in LewisLife RP was bad as one side of the L on this L shaped counter is wrong.

Verdict: Fail

My Hello Kitty Cafe Tycoon by Rock Panda Games

The one thing I remembered about Hello Kitty Cafe from the previous events is that it has bad wood grain on the end grain for the planks that your tycoon spawns on. A guess what? That was never fixed and the wooden planks are still bad.

Verdict: Fail

Pilfering Pirates by Pseudosuper

This game was all smooth plastic and had no bad wood grain.

Verdict: Pass

Tung Tung Tung Tower by iqiyeh

I still have no idea what a Tung Tung Tung is or why this games creator looks like they just mashed their keyboard for their name, but there was no bad wood grain here so it passes.

Verdict: Pass

Spray Paint! by SheriffTaco

I’ve said it before in regards to Spray Paint! that I feel like it better represents old Roblox than almost any other game onto the platform from how it lets players actually create and show stuff off in a way that no other game does, and that is why it breaks my heart to have to condemn the game because it has bad wood grain on the umbrella spurs. It is so close to greatness.
