Hello wood grain enthusiasts of ROBLOX, WoodReviewer here, and welcome to day 6 of my 2016 Advent Calendar. Today is yet another day that exists in December, and as a result there will be another items that is released from my calendar.

…And today that item is some wooden planks. More specifically, some fine planks that are glued together.

These planks are made from a texture based on the regular wooden plank texture from ROBLOX. As a result, they are much closer to wood than the wooden planks texture on ROBLOX.

The texture is based on composite pieces of wood that are glued together. These pieces are often used on interior wooden products, such as desks and doors. The purpose they serve is to make a very wide piece of wood out of a bunch of small, thin wooden boards.

Like the wooden texture I made, this works just like the wood material and on many colors. Some slight variation in the plank darkness was added, and can be adjusted with the transparency of the textures.

On one smaller note, each end also has a special end texture. This texture may need its transparency to be adjusted based on how dark the board next to the end is. Technically, if you don’t care about wood all 6 sides can be the texture of the fine wooden planks. But deep down if you do that, you will feel bad about yourself.
