WoodReviewer’s 2023 Advent Calendar Day 23

Hello door lovers of Roblox, WoodReviewer here for day 23 of my 2023 Advent Calendar, the day only day on this calendar that has way too many 23s for me to not second guess myself. Speaking for second guessing myself, apologies about today’s gift being late. I nearly had it done but upon a final inspection I realized somehow part of the gift had shifted over by like .034 studs, which meant I had to redo a few unions on it to get rid of some extra gaps. But that objects has those gaps that I had to sacrifice my sleep for tonight to make sure they were made properly?

Why a door. Specifically a wooden paneled door.

This door features a wooden frame with a beveled interior, the holds six wooden panels, all with their own bevel to give the door more depth. Additionally, a hole is cut for a door knob to be installed at some later date.

The door also features a door frame and hinges, the allows the door to actually open like a door.

And a door stop that allows the door to fully close but not let any gaps through the door.

Anyway, that is all for today. Is 18 parts and 12 unions a bit much for a single door, especially one that doesn’t even have a handle installed yet? Probably But if there is one thing this calendar is know for it is making Arseny cry by its over-use of parts and unions.

Although, since Arseny doesn’t work at Roblox anymore he probably won’t cry over this. I mean, he probably still cares about game optimizations, but not this so much. Either way, that is a tangent for another day, be sure to come back tomorrow to see the penultimate gift for this year’s calendar.
