Hello there fellow game devs who constantly feel the need to pointlessly optimize everything and must constantly resist the urge to CSG all models to make them look slightly better, WoodReviewer here with day 16 of my 2020 Advent Calendar. Today’s gift is a mostly outdated object that people used to have, but it is something I still own so I am fine with giving it out, no matter how obsolete it actually is. So, what is today’s gift?

It is a microwave stand.

So I have no idea how common these things actually are anymore. I’ve had one in my house for my entire life, but my house was also built well before microwaves were a thing. Outside of my house, I’ve never seen any in any other house I’ve been in.

Granted I don’t have any friends to see their houses, I can just assume they aren’t that common.

Anyway, this is basically just some shelves, with the main shelf for the microwave not having any backing on the sides in order to properly distribute heat from around the sides of the radioactive death machine. Other than that, yes, it is just some basic shelves.
