Hello there showcase lovers of Roblox, WoodReviewer here for a somewhat delayed review of JOODPAKJAI by Tung Official. So, what exactly is JOODPKJAI about? Honestly, I have no clue. The game has 25 person servers but the entire time I only saw 3-4 people sitting on a bench chatting over voice chat, so if I missed some entire hidden part of the game I am sorry. But I am not the only one that should be sorry; the devs should also be sorry for having so much bad wood grain. Is it a bit unfair to bash the game this early into a review? Maybe, but I mean that isn’t really a surprise that I’m bashing a game. Besides, I’m going on like 6 hours of sleep all week this week and am on my third energy drink today as I try and finish this review today, so get ready for an unhinged review. But the real question is, where do I start?
Well let’s start with this ladder and railing combo for no reason other than it is first in my screenshots folder due to how I save my screenshots. There are multiple things wrong with this screenshot, the first being the vertical posts having the incorrect horizontal wood grain. Next, the fence railing itself is incorrect with vertical wood grain instead of horizontal wood grain the stretches between the post.

Next up not to far from the previous wall is this bench. For some good news, the wood grain on the back of the bench is fine. The wood grain on the seat, however, is not fine. It should go the same direction as the back of the bench.

Moving onto the circular building right behind the bench in the above picture, there are numerous issues with the building itself, from the entirety of the frame being wrong to the wooden pieces of trim inside of the frame being wrong, but for now I want to ignore them mostly because I am running out of creative ways to say they are bad. However I do want to focus a bit on the chairs here because of the fact that unlike weird circular buildings chairs seems to be fairly popular assets in games because people like to sit down. The issue with this chair is the legs and back have horizontal wood grain when it should be vertical.

If you want an example of what it would look like if it is correct here is a chair from my 2016 Advent Calendar because the fact it is so old and still has better wood grain than a modern game that has an active player base makes it funnier in my head

With wooden chairs out of the way it is now time to visit another long-time friend of the channel, wooden crates. The issue here is that the diagonal and horizontal wood grain on these crates is bad.

Now I could explain this or I could pull up this old wooden crate I made as part of my old series of fixing endorsed models that is over 9 years old. Now there is some context missing from the above sentence, but none of that matters. Just look at this old crate and then the new one above to see how the wood grain should go.

Next up is this picnic table. The game is kind of dark and hard to see, but the issue with it is the wood grain on the diagonal supports for the bench go horizontally relative to the world axis and not go along with the direction of the wooden boards.

Granted picnic tables aren’t as well known as chairs and crates in my reviews, but I also happen to have a model of a bench from 2016 that has proper wood grain if you are curious how it should look.

Moving on from my little tangent of not explaining why wood grain is wrong in the game and just posting old models I have from 2016, the next issue I found was with this lamp post. Now I am sure I probably have an image of a lamp post with proper wood grain saved somewhere, but I really don’t feel like I need to post it. It is a post. The wood grain should be vertical. That is all that needs to be said really.

The next thing that I came across was this door frame and window set on the houses in the map. The both have improper horizontal wood grain on all of the vertical sections of the frames when the wood grain should be vertical.

Next up, this water tower has bad wood grain on its main vertical tower legs along with the end grain on the wooden planks beneath the main barrel.

And with that, his review is almost over. I mean, there is more I could show you, like different pieces of trim on different houses, but honestly I am just creatively out of energy today to point at wood and say “this is bad” in 20 different ways for JOODPAKJAI, so instead I’m going to cut this review a but short today, if you consider an almost 1,000 word review of the wood grain in a game that you’ve never heard of as short. But before I end this, I just want to leave you with one more example of bad wood grain, this weird bench thing. Now I’m sure most of you are probably thinking “Wow I am Asimo and I have no idea what is wrong here” and good going Asimo, go back to your corner. For the rest of you, you are probably curious why the wood grain is diagonal on what is a clearly horizontal piece of wood. And honestly I’ve got nothing for you on this. It is just terrible and I have absolutely zero clue how the devs managed this.

And that really represents most of the wood grain in this game, no? Terrible, with zero clue on how it should go.
