Hello there event enjoyers of Roblox, WoodReviewer here again to take a look at the most recent Roblox event, The Takeover. If you haven’t heard of this event before I am sorry as it is now over and you can’t play it anymore, but the general gist if it was that there were 48 games you could play to complete 3-4 missions in each game. Each mission rewarded points, and you would then join a clan and pool your points together to earn other points to get on a leaderboard and earn hats. I think. I wasn’t focused on the hats as much as I was reviewing the wood grain in every game so I never dove into the meta game for the event that much. All you need to know is that for this review I am not judging the content of the game, but the wood grain on the game.
So, what exactly are the rules by which I am reviewing each game? Basically I am going to play the games, completing quests until either I beat the final quest or find some bad wood grain. I know normally I do complete all the quests in an event but due to this event being announced during RDC and my associated travel from RDC I’ve just been really short on time this week. That, and combined with the fact I did initially start with trying to complete every quest only to waste 7 hours over the first four days of the event on quests that were either bugged, not working, or that I spent an hour to complete only for the progress not to be saved made my decide that it really wasn’t worth it to complete every quest at the cost of the review words no be very good.

And yes, that does mean I did complete the entirety of every mission in a game where I was unable to find bad wood grain. As always this does come with the disclaimer that “this is not an actual review as I didn’t review the entire game” but that disclaimer will not apply to many games this time around. So, with intros out of the way lets jump straight into the review.
The Clubhouse
To help break up and organize this review I am going to group places by where they were located inside of the event game. This first of these places is the main hub world, The Clubhouse. As it lacks any actual games connected to it there isn’t anything to review besides for the world itself. Unfortunately for Twin Atlas, despite the small size of the Clubhouse I did find a few issues with it. The first one was with this wooden plank pieces scattered throughout the entire map.

If this looks familiar to you that is because it appears to be the same basic mesh/texture that was featured throughout The Hatch hub world(s), only this time it appears the texture is scaled differently so that the planks are a bit narrower.

So, why exactly is this wrong? For wooden planks the gaps in the planks should line up with the gaps in the top/bottoms of the wooden part. In this case, the planks don’t, and the gap follows this red line.

Whereas in this case the gaps should follows these yellow lines, roughly. Please remember this as it is a very common issue that I will just refer to as “wooden plank end grain” because I don’t want to make 4 dozen mockups for every example of it I see in games.

Moving on from bad end grain on wooden planks, the next issue I saw was just bad wooden plank usage on the outside frame of this large crate. First off wooden planks shouldn’t be used as a frame because they are not one solid piece of wood, but I understand doing it for aesthetic reasons due to the wooden plank texture. However if you do this the planks should stretch along the longest section of the crate, not go perpendicular to it.

And honestly that is all I really have for The Clubhouse. Yes, there was a lot of bad wood grain scattered around, but it was mostly due to the builders spamming the same trapezoidal mesh from above over and over again, like here. And as funny as it would be to show every instance of it, we have another 48 places to review here.

Adrenaline Heights
The first real hub world I took a look at due to how I sorted my Excel spreadsheet of games in alphabetical order is Adrenaline Heights. This hub world contains all the usual suspects that you will see in the rest of the main place but due to me not writing this review in the order that I took screenshots I don’t have any good pictures of all of that stuff. But it is there, and even more there was this unique tree in the world.

If you want a more in-depth response as to why this tree is bad, check out this old blog post about tree bark. The TL;DR is that trees should have all their bark go the same way away from the origin of the tree, so if the trunk has vertical bark going away from the stump the rest of the tree should follow suit. Or if it wraps around the trunk it should do that on all the branches. This tree has a mixture of both, so it is bad.
Arsenal by ROLVe
I understand that the funny thing here would be to try and get the screenshot of the loading screen that I found in previous events again, but after like three tries I couldn’t find it so I gave up. However as this required playing regular maps instead of special maps that did give me access to the entire game, and while playing I found these wooden fence pickets that have bad wood grain. Sure, it isn’t as funny as the loading screen but it still exists.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Weird Gun Game by Redscape Interactive Products
If you notice that the games in this event are grouped by game type don’t worry, you aren’t loosing it. That seems pretty intentional by how they were place in portal groups, and hence how I am reviewing them. That means the second game I am looking at is another FPS, a new game to Roblox events called Weird Gun Game. And while the game itself is weird, the weirdest part of the game is that like Arsenal it also falls apart due to bad wood grain on a fence. I guess it is just a thing for FPS games.

Verdict: Bad wood grain.
Natural Disaster Survival by StickMasterLuke
Ah yes, the classic Natural Disaster Survival is back with the first change to the core gameplay loop in years. Granted the changes of aggroing police officers are totally optional, but it is something until the next update 5 years from now. Anyway as this is a classic game it has the same classic bad wood grain it has had for years with bad wood grain on this door, specifically on the thin sections that make up the sides of the window.

Verdict: Bad wood grain.
The Survival Game by Simple Games
Returning for what I believe is the third time for a Roblox event, The Survival Game is a survival game. However, for the event the devs made a custom arena that you could teleport to and ignore the entire rest of the game so that I would have to go out of my way to find any of the normal suspects here. Unfortunately for the devs, this new sign they put near the arena has bad wood grain on the top face, so I didn’t even have to go looking for any bad wood grain, the game teleported me to it.

Verdict: Bad wood grain.
DOORS by LSPLASH
DOORS is back for yet another event. While I could be mean and focus on some of the previous things that I’ve found wrong, I felt like it would be funnier if I instead focused on something new this time, like this wooden crate inside one of the new elevators. It has bad wood grain on the corner vertical edge supports.

Verdict: Bad wood grain.
something evil will happen like larvae studios
something evil will happen is a retro-style survival game much like Natural Disaster Survival, only made for an era where Roblox can support more than 500 parts in a level moving at once before the game starts looking like a PowerPoint presentation. As such, most of the game is smooth plastic. Most of the game. For some reason they decided to use these retro cars which aren’t even from the true retro era of Roblox as they are made out of wood. As they use the classic Roblox cars with bad wood grain they have the classic Roblox cars that have bad wood grain, and as a result so does the game. I’m sorry, but blame John. I tried to tell him about fixing wood grain back in 2011, he just never listened.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Build a Golem Army by The Guild!
A new entrant to the Roblox event sphere, Build a Golem Army has the decreasingly rare visual aesthetic that is all smooth plastic, while also not having every single surface covered with studs. As a result there was no bad wood grain in the game.

Verdict: No bad wood grain
Pressure by Urbanshade: Hadal Division
Pressure is back for another event, and due to the devs rocky experience with events combined with the fact I genuinely enjoyed their custom quests I am going to overlook the wooden pallet they use in every map that has bad wood grain. Yes, if your event is fun I can be bought.
Unfortunately, I found some new bad wood grain in the custom game mode, with this wooden bench having bad wood grain on its top face. Sorry, but having a cool game mode only buys you one mulligan.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
World//Zero by Twin Atlas
No, I have no idea why World//Zero, Pressure, and Build a Golem Army are grouped together either. But that doesn’t really matter; what does matter is that this little scaffolding area near the spawn in the special event area for World//Zero has bad wood grain on the diagonal planks in the normal default Roblox wood texture, unlike the regular game which has a weird wooden texture that some people debate me on due to it being different.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Tower Defense Simulator by Paradoxum Games
A true event veteran by this point, Tower Defense Simulator is again back for another event with a custom map that has a few neat tricks. And like most of the previous events it has taken part in, the new map has all custom textures with proper wood grain. But also like previous events I am too petty to give the game a passing grade when I know for a fact the rest of the game has a ton of bad wood grain throughout the rest of its maps, so here is a screenshot of some random map I found after exploring the lobby for 5 minutes.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
SpongeBob Tower Defense by Krabby Krew
Much like Tower Defense Simulator, SpongeBob Tower Defense has a custom map built for The Takeover event. However, much like Tower Defense Simulator I have played this game before and don’t want to give it a passing grade while I know for a fact it has bad wood grain elsewhere, so here is some bad wood grain on the inner part of the railing on this boat the Mr. Krabs is inside.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Tower Defense X by Tower Defense X
The last game in Adrenaline Heights, Tower Defense X is also the last of the trio of tower defense games all grouped together. Now stop me if you heard this before, but Tower Defense X has a custom map built for a new game mode for this event, and that map has no bad wood grain. But by exploring the lobby for five seconds I found these crates which have bad wood grain on the horizontal and diagonal supports, which screws over the actual event map.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Artist Alley
The second sub world I am taking a look at is Artist Alley. Much like Adrenaline Heights it has all the normal examples of bad wood grain from the other subworlds, but it features a special visit from the trapezoidal mesh again, this time really squished and curved acting as a skateboard ramp.

Also it has this wooden bench which is made out of wooden planks and has some bad wood grain on the most front facing face of the seat.

Build an Island by TJim’s Studio
The first game I am looking at in Artist Alley is also the only one here that has proper wood grain, and by proper wood grain I mean it has the smooth plastic with studs aesthetic that is oh so popular on Roblox right. And also yes, you heard that right, this is the only game in all of Artist Alley that lacks bad wood grain.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Fisch by Fisching
The first of two fishing games in The Takeover, Fisch is the most well known of the two, along with being the one that I have the most experience with due to all the previous events that it has been featured in. Anyway, the sign posts on the signs right near spawn still have bad wood grain like they have had for ever so if that could be fixed it would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and also can all the other stuff be fixed, too?

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Regretevator by The Axotol Sun
Regretevator is back for its second event, and I know I said before that it is one of those games that I really should play but just don’t and I still stand by that. Anyway, Regretevator is another one of those games where you can join the main lobby and it is in the main lobby that I found some bad wood grain, specifically on the trim for this little clothing stand.

I know it is a bit hard to see, so let me just zoom in a bit and brighten it up and change the contrast. If you can’t see it now than you need more help than I can provide right now.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Capybara Evolution by Capybara Evolution
I genuinely have no idea how this sign post got so screwed up. I was so intrigued by it after seeing it in previous reviews/games I tried to remake it in Blender and I like just couldn’t. Like I know it is some texturing/UV mapping issue but I just couldn’t make this happen without adding some stupid amount of geometry somewhere. But like, it is a cylinder. Why would there be an angled cut diagonally across it to make a seam? Why is that a seam? Why would the texture not be straight? Why does it look like there are ~60 or so faces at the bottom of the cylinder? Why is there a large dark patch between where it looks like it is vertical and horizontal? I am so genuinely confused by this.

Verdict: Also why is there a light tan stripe on the sign board? And why does it move across it jaggedly? This entire sign just makes no sense the longer I look at it. Also bad wood grain.
Carry and Egg by Skeptic Softworks
Now I am sure some of you are probably wondering “WoodReviewer, why is this a screenshot of a tray from the shop that has bad wood grain instead of the one you spawn with by default?” And that is a good question. I don’t know, but this is the screenshot I have and I am not going to go back and change it. Anyway, the problem is the sides of the tray have bad wood grain with the grain going from one side to the other, not front to back.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Redcliffe City RP by Redcliffe City RP
It was hard to choose which piece of bad wood grain I should use in Redcliffe City because there were so many that I could have chosen from, but in the end I went with this sign right by spawn simply because it was the first one that I saw when I spawned into the game. Anyway, the post on the sign is bad.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Build with Friends by Tsunami Disaster
As a general rule, when I review building games I give the devs some leeway if people are able to create bad wood grain in-game with the tools the devs give them. Unless it is wooden trusses, then I go on the warpath. The one major exception is if the devs allow users to place some premade asset like say some wooden chair that has bad wood grain from the devs. Anyway, here is a wooden chair that I found in the tool box for Build with Friends that has bad wood grain.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Dungeon Hunters by Twin Atlas
The second game by Twin Atlas to be featured in this event, I’m pretty sure that Twin Atlas is like 0 for 20 something in terms of all the games they have had featured in Roblox events, with not a single one having proper wood grain yet. Unfortunately for Sniper this is yet another one where they failed to have proper wood grain, with the horizontal segment on this large gate having vertical wood grain instead of the correct horizontal wood grain.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Plane Crazy by Plane Crazy Developers
Another game that revolves mainly around user generated content, Plane Crazy tried to minimize the chances I had of finding any bad wood grain while building my vehicles by providing premade vehicles for me to use to complete all of the challenges. However, this only works if there is no bad wood grain for me to find within the actual game itself, like on the top face of this sign on the map. It has bad wood grain.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
How to Train Your Dragon by How to Train Your Dragon Movie
Initially I had a lot of hope for How to Train Your Dragon as it does a bunch of fancy UV and mesh stuff on its map to help make the game run well while also looking great, and I assumed that meant the devs would understand how wood grain works. Yes, I was foolish. The problem here is with the boss fight there is a catapult you summon. And that is made with regular Roblox wooden parts. And guess what?

The parts that the catapult are made out of have bad wood grain. Is it a bit crazy to expect good wood grain on something you have to zoom in several time to get a close look at? Maybe, but not many people accuse me of being a sane person.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Ultimate Mining Tycoon by Innovation Inc
I was really hoping Ultimate Mining Tycoon would do something innovative in their game, such as actually having proper wood grain. However I guess that was too unrealistic as this ramp has bad wood grain on the end grain for the wooden planks.

Verdict: Bad wood grain.
Work at a Pizza Place by Dued1
Ah yes, Work at a Pizza Place. Fitting that the final place for Artist Alley is one of the oldest places in the event, and it was great as it was nice to have the event force people to actually play Pizza Place instead of just hanging out in houses not making pizza. Anyway, if you want a full breakdown of all the bad wood grain here check out one of my old reviews on it or just wait a few weeks, but for now I’m just going to leave you with the bad wood grain on the posts for this dock.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Competition Park
The third sub world in The Takeover, it again mostly contains reused assets from the other worlds so there isn’t much original stuff to cover here. However, it did have this interesting… stuff here. I have no idea what it is actually supposed to be other than some weird semi-destroyed building that only exists as a way to fit some unique bad wood grain into this world, but hey, if Twin Atlas wants to destroy their reputation I won’t stop them.

Tennis: Zero by Current X Blackstar
Starting off the Competition Park on a strong note, Tennis: Zero is probably the high-bar for sports games in terms of unique events, plus the fact that I was unable to find any bad wood grain throughout any part of the map is another plus. Unfortunately as this is a tennis game it has these weird things called tennis rackets, and oh boy does this have bad wood grain. Now , why is the one thing that every player spawns with the only thing in the game not a custom mesh or texture? That is a question for the devs.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
untitled boxing game by drowningsome
Why yes I do remember your little stunt from The Hunt: Mega Edition where you made it so my entire map was filled with bad wood grain. So yes, I did make sure this wooden table looked the same on my account, and my alt account, and my secret alt account, and my super secret alt account on a burner phone that never connects to my home internet network, and even checked Conor3Ds video to make sure it was the the same there, and I can confirm it was the same everywhere. Anyway, the issue here is that the wood grain on the table should go across the table, not from the front to the back.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Murderers vs Sheriffs Duels by Red21 Games
Another returning veteran to Roblox events game, Murderers vs Sheriffs seems to have cleaned up its lobby from the other events, so that is a plus. However the actual game and maps themselves have not been fixed, with issues such as the vertical trim on the door frame still being ignored after the year and a half plus since its first appearance in an event.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Slap Battles by Slap Battles
So Blade Ball was missing from this event so I guess someone had to keep the trend going to having the crappy wooden sign from free models right next to spawn, and I guess that was Slap Battles this time. Please, just fix the wood grain on this sign. It will take a single click with material flip.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Musical Chairs by Infinity Forge Interactive
Now I am not saying that I don’t normally completely loose my cool over games that have chairs with bad wood grain in them, because I do, but usually those chairs are a small part of a game. A decoration. At most something you sit in or see in a cut scene. But in Musical Chairs they are like half of the total part count of the entire game. They are literally the central part of the game, yet they have bad wood grain. If I could yell for comedic effect now I would.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Pixel Blade by Frost Blade Games
At first I had high expectations for Pixel Blade as it appeared to be all smooth plastic, and then my expectations were raised even higher as the only wood grain I saw was on the wooden planks for various docks and they all appeared to be correct. However, then I found this one specific dock where the wood grain was long.

For reference, this is what it looks like on the other docks that are correct. I genuinely have no idea why just this one is wrong.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Boomstick! Football by Remarkable Gamers
So yeah, this was a game. Anyway this pirate ship has bad wood grain on the upper face for this railing segment. Yes, I said the pirate ship has bad wood grain in a football game.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Super League Soccer by Play! Football
Super League Soccer is back again, once again confusing people on of it is called football of soccer. While in previous events I believe the game had problems with bad wood grain in the locker room like most ball based sports games do, this time the problem was not from inside the locker room but rather outside the stadium. I’m not sure why the field wasn’t surrounded by a proper stadium but rather normal outdoor furniture, but it was. And unfortunately these chairs were made out of wood, and what’s worse the vertical supports for these chairs have bad wood grain.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Superstar Racers by CONECORP
One of the few new-to-me game from this event, Superstar Racers was a very unique game in that it probably has the highest skill ceiling out of any game in any event ever, and that made it interesting. This is ruined, however, by the bad wood grain on this fence post in the main lobby. The wood grain here should be vertical, not horizontal.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Barry’s Prison Run by Platinum Falls
One of the most prolific devs from The Hatch, Platinum Falls is back with only a single game this time and there is plenty of bad wood grain to choose from as getting the badges required me to complete the entire game. There were many things that I could have chosen from, but I felt this ladder was the most fitting as it is made from basic cylinder that should have wood grain but they were altered as a mesh or as a CSG union and the result caused them to have bad wood grain. This is why I always have disclaimers saying that if there is a way to use bad wood grain some dev will find it.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Dead Rails by RCM Games
Another game that requires you to complete the entire game to get all the badges, I had free reign to review anything I wanted to in the entire game. So of course I decided to choose a screenshot from the lobby of a sign that has bad wood grain on the sign post. Look, I’m sorry but I just really had when sign posts have bad wood grain ok.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Tower of Hell by YXeptional Studios
For those of you keeping track at home, this is the last game in the Competition Park. The last game that had proper wood grain in this event was the first game in the Artist Alley. Luckily for all the devs involved Tower of Hell is entirely smooth plastic and neon because otherwise this would have been really sad to have an entire zone not have any games with proper wood grain. I mean, the fact we are 36 games into this review so far and you can count the amount of games with good wood grain on one hand without using your pinky or thumb is really bad, but it could be worse.

Verdict: Proper wood grain
Strat University
The last sub world in The Takeover, Strat University seems to mostly have games that don’t fit into any other subworld, although if I can give an opinion it makes no sense that the three tower defense games aren’t in the strategy world. The games aside, one thing that makes Strat University the most unique world is how many custom models it has. Take the Library for example, it has this couch that isn’t seen anywhere else in The Takeover the has bad wood grain on the sides.

Also the bottom horizontal support for this bookshelf has bad wood grain, along with some more appearances of that weird trapezoid block in the background.

DIG by DIG Development
The first game in Strat University, DIG has a ton of bad wood grain everywhere. From the wooden shovel, to the barrels, to the fence posts, to the bench in front of the fence, to the crates hidden in the background, I could be here all day. And that is before you include the various models you can dig up, which I don’t want to even think about when the few I found had a ton of bad wood grain.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Dig the Backyard by brillant_games
A game that I have reviewed in the past that, brillant_games made the brilliant mistake of not fixing any of the bad wood grain that I found in my initial review of the game and as a result there is plenty of possible choices for my to choose from. In this case I think I will go with the most obvious example with this bad wood grain on the horizontal supports of the A-Frame support for the garage, along with the top support for the garage door.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Gym Star Simulator by Gym Simulator Club
After being filled with simulators in previous events I believe that Gym Star Simulator is the only true simulator in The Takeover. And while I get it, it is kind of sad because simulators tend to be mostly smooth plastic which helps to pad how many have proper wood grain verses bad wood grain. And Gym Star Simulator continues this padding being the fourth game in the event to have proper wood grain. Yes, this event is so bad that being a fourth game to have proper wood grain is padding.

Verdict: Proper wood grain.
Dragon Adventures by Sonar Studios/Twin Atlas
Like in all of the previous events that Dragon Adventures has been in, it is actually hard to find bad wood grain in the main world. However because I have experience here I know exactly where to go in the trading hub in order to find find bad wood grain, like on these shelves which have bad wood grain on the front support for the shelves.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
easiest game ever by robey100
Another game that I really should play more, easiest game ever made it really easy to find bad wood grain as the bridge you have to walk over when you first spawn has bad wood grain on the wooden planks. However as the devs made an entire new game mode for the game I felt as if I should use some of the bad wood grain from that, such as the supports on Paul’s bed that have bad wood grain.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Savannah Life by NOYO Productions
Savannah Life is probably the game most on the edge of having good verses bad wood grain in this entire event. On one hand, it has no wood grain and everything is either dirt, rock, or tree bark. On the other hand, this tree has a texture issue on it. While the bark still mostly follows how tree bark should go, it is clear something funky is going on with the UV map. So I’m giving it a passing grade for now, but just barely.

Verdict: Proper wood grain
Dress to Impress by Dress to Impress Group
Dress to Impress used to be very impressive as despite the games popularity there was a time where it had no bad wood grain. Granted the entire game is like 4 rooms so that isn’t really impressive, but I have seen games where the entire game is a single chair and even then the chair has bad wood grain. Anyway with recent updates Dress to Impress continues to add more and more bad wood grain with the newest edition being this random railing and beach chair in the lobby that both feature bad wood grain on their supports.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Horse Life by Sonar Studios/Twin Atlas
Twin Atlas’ fourth attempt in this event to try and have proper wood grain in one single game, I kind of knew how Horse Life would fair based on my previous experience with the game. And my suspicions held true as when I joined I was greeted by this sign which had bad wood grain on the vertical supports on the back of it.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
My Fishing Pier by My Fishing Pier
The second fishing-based game in The Takeover, My Fishing Pier is clearly superior to Fisch because it has no bad wood grain. Is this because the game has no materials at all because it is all smooth plastic with studs? Yes, but hey, it counts.

Verdict: Proper wood grain
Bayside High School by Double Bandit Studios
While the special event game mode in Bayside High School did lack any bad wood grain, I didn’t want to forgive the game for previous transgressions and spent 20 seconds exploring the main game before playing the event. And in that time I found this bookshelf that has bad wood grain on every single shelf.

Verdict: Bad wood grain.
Creatures of Sonaria by Sonar Studios/Twin Atlas
The fifth and final game in the event by Twin Atlas, it is also the penultimate game in this entire review. So, did they finally crack the code and have proper wood grain in one singular event game? Well no, the game has bad wood grain on tree bark again. And unlike Savannah Life where it was kind of questionable, this time the wood grain is clearly vertical and horizontal on a single limb for the tree.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
My Little Pony RP by Outright Games
As an actual official game in this event, My Little Pony RP somehow ended up being the final game on my list for this event. For this event they added a small runway fashion mini-game. However I got lost before I played it and while trying to make my way over to the event I found this bookshelf that has bad wood grain on the sides. A sad showing for the final game in this event.

Verdict: Bad wood grain
Wrap Up
So, that was all 48 games in The Takeover, and only 6 had proper wood grain. In raw number terms that comes out to 12.5% of the games being correct. While that isn’t the lowest number ever for an event, with The Winder Showcase sitting at 8% and The Hunt: Second Edition sitting at 12%, it is still below The Hatch at 27%, The Classic at 25%, The Games at 20%, The Haunt at 18%, and The Hunt at 17%. What’s worse is that while before there seemed to be a trend towards having more game leading to a better percentage of games having proper wood grain, The Takeover bucks this trend a bit by having a decent amount of games while also having only a few have proper wood grain.
Are there any conclusions that I could draw from this? Probably, but they would all be mindless speculation and honestly that won’t help anyone. All I know for certain is that my expectations for this event were low, and somehow it did even worse than I was expecting. I mean really, are simulators the only game genre that can use proper wood grain? And even then, is it only because they just make everything smooth plastic? Even Asimo, bless him, is at least trying to get better. I mean, he still has a lot of progress to make, but at least the effort is there.
Seriously, please do better.

Hello, could you make a blog on what kind of wood grains are of good quality and which aren’t? If you have already made such, I would be interested in looking through!
