Fair-Hallows Eve:Blocktoberfest

Hello OP players of ROBLOX, WoodReviewer here, today I am going to Nerf you with the Blocktoberfest Halloween event, sponsored by Nerf. One thing I need to say is that I was asked before the game was released, in early August, to look at the wood grain before it was released. I asked if I could look at it closer to release, in September or so. But then I forgot because I have a short attention span and often forget what I’m doing, which is why if you ever see me in-game and I am acting confused, I probably am.

Onto the actual game, the game consists of a series of mini-games based around a central county fair area. It is odd, though, because while everything is made to be seem like a fair, the roller coaster resembles a much more permanent launched coaster, rather than the more common traveling Wild Mouse/small looping coasters that frequent fair grounds. Onto the actual wood grain, the central fair area doesn’t have much. That doesn’t mean it had proper wood grain, though, as the costume stands have bad wood grain. Instead of having vertical wood grain on the legs and main support, it has horizontal wood grain.

Royalty-Template Places Part 11

Hello peasants looking for a new Supreme Wood Grain Ninja Master Model Overlord, Sir Supreme Wood Grain Ninja Master Model Overlord WoodReviewer here, it is once again time to take a look at some of the “fine” template places ROBLOX has provided new builders as an example of how they are able to build proper places. Today is not a review of a new place, but rather a re-review of an older place that got remade-mainly the Castle Template Place, available in studio and hosted on the Templates ROBLOX account. For reference, my review on the  original is here. To be honest, the new version does look much better.

Frog Feet-Meadows Ranch Part 4

Hello flaming horse riders, WoodReviewer here, today I am looking at a staple of my blog post history. No, not Asimo, and if you still haven’t figured out that I include the name of games in my title than that is your own problem. Today I am taking another look at Meadows Ranch. More specifically, the Halloween pumpkin hunting map. So if you are reading this after October ends, it may not apply to you if they remove it. Unless they reused the map for another event. Still, today it is time to focus on the present, and for that we need to look at the map.

Party Time-CLUB NYONIC

Hello quality physics lovers of ROBLOX, WoodReviewer here. Sorry for the recent stream of inactivity, I’ve been busy doing things that involve stuff that I cannot legally share. Not bad things, good things. I just can’t share them. But this blog isn’t dedicated to posting good things, it is dedicated to posting bad things. Or mainly bad wood grain. The jury is still out on if bad wood grain is actually a bad thing, but luckily this blog is also an authoritarian dictatorship so I don’t need to listen to the jury. Today I will be taking a look at CLUB NYONIC by NYONIC.

Pizza Builder-Freddy’s Tycoon 3

Hello lovers of deranged mechanical dancing bears, WoodReviewer here, today it is time for a new game; so new that it is not even out yet. Well, it was out for a while but then shut down due to bugs. I’m not sure what those bugs were, but I am fairly certain none of the bugs that cause a game to be shut down have anything to do with wood grain. If they did, a lot more game should be shut down. I know some may consider it in poor taste to review a game while it is shut down, but when is a better time to fix the wood grain then while the game is already down for maintenance? But what game am I reviewing? Well, if you haven’t figured out that I include the game names in the title of my reviews, today I am taking a look at Freddy’s Tycoon 3 by Kmansong2.

Short Supply-RBXDev Offices Part 6

Hello fellow devs waiting for RBXDev to come back online, WoodReviewer here. Today it is once again time to look at the very best building showcases that the best ROBLOX devs have been able to create at the RBXDev Offices. This is the continuiation of a series of posts on the offices, but as for the foreseeable future this will be the last post. Not out of choice, but simply because there are not enough offices for another post. So if you want more of these posts, be sure to annoy friends in RBXDev to submit more offices.

The first office for today was by Leates. It had no wood grain.

Trick-Trick or Tweet in Hallowsville

Hello witches and zombies of ROBLOX, WoodReviewer here. Today I am started the stream of Halloween themed games that are coming out this month with a look at Tick or Tweet in Hallowsville by Team Nexus, lead by Lion2323.

Town.png

The game takes place in a small little town that is filled with various monsters/talking pumpkins that require you to do various tasks for them, like finding brains or catching bats that robbed a bank. But that stuff doesn’t involve me; I just care about the wood grain.

Woof-Far Lands

Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is WoodReviewer, and welcome to Far Lands.  Far Lands is made by Far Lands Advisory Board, and is lead by ChadTheCreator. It is a role-play game where you do role-play stuff with other people. Of course, instead of acting like a different person I decided to act like my normal self, and inspected the wood grain.

My journey in Far Lands began in the great walled city of South Dover. I began at this small stall selling things, but mostly complaining to people passing by about how bad the wood grain was on the roof for the stall.

Beach Fun-Cape Cod

Hello non-elite builders of ROBLOXia who have a deep yearning to learn more about wood grain, WoodReviewer here, it is that time again: when I have no idea what place to review but still want to get a blog post out. You all know what that means: Time to spin toe EBR Wheel of Woodshame and find a random place with bad wood grain. Today’s victim is Electiz, with his place Cape Cod. As always with EBR places, it goes not take long to find bad wood grain.

Ope ning.png

This was right by spawn. As it is easy to see, the posts that hold up the rope that hold up the lantern have bad wood grain. The grain should be vertical. Surprisingly, though, the chairs and table both had correct wood grain.

Duck Towers-Theme Park Tycoon v57

Hello lovers of ducks and giant golden towers, WoodReviewer here. Today it is time for a review that is a few days late but that everyone has been waiting for: Them Park Tycoon 2 Beta by Den_S. More specifically, version 57, since Den_S actually understands why version numbers are important rather than saying a game is in Beta. Now this review is a bit late since this game peaked in popularity a few months ago, and honestly I have no reason why this review was not made a month ago. However today is today, and it is time to review it. Lets start off with my giant tower of uselessness.
